Fibers are transported to the material swing distributor on top of the metering bin and evenly distributed via programmed control to the metering bin at crosswise direction. A pair of crashing roller under the swing distributor splits up fiber bundle and glue lumps if there is any mixed with the fiber.
The fibers dropped at the front of the metering bin are scraped toward the end side of the bin via moving rakes mounted on the top of the metering bin at a certain height. There is belt conveyor on the bottom of metering bin, driven by VFD, conveys fiber with certain height to the production line direction. The fiber flow can be adjusted by the speed of the belt.
The disintegration rollers installed tilted at the front of the metering bin disintegrate fibers to the forming chamber underneath. The flap under the disintegration rollers is adjusted to achieve a smooth and stable air flow so as to make a uniform dropping of fiber at crosswise direction. All the fibers go through a magnet before being dropped down to the forming chamber.
The forming chamber is composed of forming box and disc roller bed. The rotation speed, rotation direction, roller gap can be adjusted to achieve best forming quality and accuracy. Fiber bundles and glue lumps are separated from the fibers and rejected from the process at the end of the roller bed.
Scalper roller is installed after equalizer to calibrate the mat continuously for best surface quality.
