Continuous Flat Hot Press for making PB/OSB/MDF/HDF

Hydraulic continuous flat hot press is one core and high technology equipment for making PB/OSB/MDF/HDF with Big production capacity, which can be 100,000m3-500,000m3/yearly. Compared with multi-layer presses, the efficiency is increased by 30% to 50%, and because it is continuous and uninterruptted, so it can keep the density and thickness of final panel more better.

Continuous presses can be designed to be different length to satisfy different production capacity from 20meters ~40meters

Key Components of Continuous Flat Press

√ Steel belt drive: The slabs are conveyed between two high-temperature steel belts, with uniform pressure.

√ Heating method: Usually, hot oil or steam is used to heat the pressure plate, and the temperature can reach 180-250℃.

√ Segmented pressurization: By applying pressure in stages through multiple sets of hydraulic cylinders (up to approximately 5-30 mpa), the particleboard adhesive is cured.

√ Cooling system: The pressed plates are shaped through the cooling section to prevent deformation.

√ Automation control: PLC or DCS systems monitor parameters such as temperature, pressure and speed in real time
