Introduction of Rotary Dryer

 

General Introduction:

Rotary drum dryer machine is a key equipment in production, which is used to dry the wet long wood shavings produced by the long wood planer. It has high thermal efficiency, minimal damage to the shavings, large production capacity, and is widely used in oriented strand board (OSB) and ordinary particle board production enterprises.

Machine Structure:
This series of rotary drum dryer is mainly composed of cylinder, big tooth ring, pinion, support wheel, stop wheel, wheel belt, support wheel shaft and other parts.Through the triangular belt, the motor is decelerated by two stages of the reducer, and the big tooth ring is driven by the pinion to make the cylinder run at the designed speed, so that the material in the cylinder body is evenly dried.

Operating Principle:
When the shavings dryer is working, the motor through the triangle belt, through the reducer two stages of deceleration, through the pinion to drive the big tooth ring, so that the cylinder according to the design speed of the operation, shavings wet material into the dryer, in the cylinder evenly distributed and dispersed under the board copy machine, and full contact with the flow (countercurrent) of hot air. Accelerated drying heat and mass transfer. During the drying process, the material can be moved to another star-shaped discharge valve of the dryer under the action of the inclined sheet and the hot air flow to discharge the shavings for drying the finished product.
