MDF is a kind of artificial board made of wood fiber, by breaking down wood into fibers, adding resin binder, and then pressing through high pressure

MDF production step

How to make MDF? 
It mainly include below production steps:

1. Raw material handling section
- Chipper: Cut wood or other plant raw materials into small pieces for easy follow-up treatment.
- Cleaning machine: Remove impurities in wood chips, such as soil, stones, etc.
- Screening machine: Screen wood chips of uniform size to ensure the quality of subsequent processing.

2. Fiber preparation section
- Hot mill: The wood chips are heated and ground into fibers, while adding a resin adhesive.
- Dryer: Remove the moisture in the fiber and make it reach the appropriate humidity.

3. Molding section
- Laying machine: The dry fibers are evenly laid into slabs.
- Prepress: The slab is initially compressed, the air is discharged, and the preliminary molding is made.

4. Hot press section
- Hot press: The slab is pressed into a density plate under high temperature and pressure to achieve the required density and thickness.
- Cooling machine: cooling the hot pressed sheet to stabilize its shape and performance.

5. Post-processing section
- Sanding machine: Sanding the surface of the plate to make it smooth and flat.
- Edge cutting machine: cut the edge of the sheet according to the specification, so that it meets the size requirements.
- Sorting machine: According to the quality of the plate classification, to ensure consistent product quality.

6. Packing section
- Stacker: Stacking finished sheets neatly.
- Packaging machine: Packaging the stacked plates for easy transportation and storage.
