Production Line Overview

The One-Click Operating System MDF Production Line is a new-generation fully automatic medium density fiberboard manufacturing solution developed by our company, based on years of experience in wood-based panel equipment and integrating Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing concepts. The designed annual capacity ranges from 50,000 m³ to 300,000 m³, with flexible customization according to client requirements.

Equipment Introduction

 I. Raw Material Preparation Section

1. Log Debarker - Removes bark from logs to ensure board cleanliness.

2. Chipper - Cuts logs or branches into specification wood chips.

3. Chip Screen - Screens qualified chips and removes oversized/undersized chips and sand/stone impurities.

4. Chip Silo - Buffers wood chips to ensure continuous feeding for downstream sections.

 

 II. Fiber Preparation Section

5. Preheating Screw - Preheats and softens chips in preparation for defibration.

6. Refiner - Grinds chips into fibers; the core equipment for fiber quality.

7. Glue Application System - Includes glue preparation, metering, and dosing pumps, applying UF or MDI resin to fibers.

8. Flash Tube Dryer - Uses hot air to rapidly dry resinated fibers to the target moisture content.

9. Fiber Classifying Screen - Separates qualified fibers from coarse fiber bundles to ensure uniform mat forming.

10. Fiber Silo - Stores dried fibers to balance capacity between upstream and downstream sections.

 

 III. Forming and Pre-pressing Section

11. Forming Machine - Evenly spreads fibers into a continuous mat (air-forming or mechanical-forming).

12. Leveling/Weighing Device - Online adjusts mat thickness and weight to ensure uniformity.

13. Mat Pre-press - Pre-compresses the mat to expel air and increase initial strength.

14. Mat Accelerator - Rapidly ejects the mat in case of faults to prevent press blockage.

15. Metal Detector - Detects metallic impurities in the mat to protect the press.

 

 IV. Hot Pressing Section

16. Continuous Flat-press Hot Press - Core equipment that consolidates the mat under high temperature and high pressure into a continuous raw board.

17. Thermal Oil/Steam Heating System - Provides stable heat source for the press with precise temperature control.

18. Hydraulic System - Supplies required pressure and opening/closing control for the press.

V. Post-Treatment Section
19. Raw Board Cross-Cut Saw - Cuts the continuous raw board into panels at set lengths.
20. Cooling and Tilter - Cools the hot-pressed panels naturally or forcibly to relieve internal stress.
21. Stacker - Neatly stacks cooled panels for intermediate buffering.
 
 VI. Sanding and Trimming Section
22. Thickness Calibration Sander - Double-side sands panels for thickness accuracy and surface smoothness.
23. Fine Sander - Further refines the surface to meet high-grade finishing requirements.
24. Longitudinal & Transverse Edge Saw - Trims panels to final finished dimensions (length × width).
25. Finished Product Sorting Line - Sorts by grade and automatically stacks and packs.
 
 VII. Auxiliary Systems
26. Energy Center - Utilizes biomass fuels such as bark, sanding dust, and waste to generate heat and thermal oil for the line.
27. Dust Collection System - Collects dust from all sections and purifies exhaust gases.
28. Air Compressor Station - Supplies compressed air for equipment.
29. DCS Central Control Room - Equipped with industrial computers, operator consoles, and large displays for one-click operation.
